Well we are back in track working towards the “Hurricane Damage” show. This is the table top we are now ready to glass etch.

It is day 51 of the oil leak which makes this project even more difficult to do. My heart and feelings are so heavy. Inside my head I shout “Stop the leak!”. I know so many of us feel helpless. God Bless!

Come help paint my cool art project that will be displayed for a year in front the Alexander Learning Center in Shreveport.

Su priming the project

SRAC had a ‘call to artists’ for a public art project with the theme of ‘disabilities’ this fit perfectly with the dog theme that seems to be my new art direction… Dogs with jobs is such an exciting and interesting topic that I had to use it. My project is 4 large plywood cut outs- a cartoon kid paired with his or her working dog.

I celebrate a Seeing Eye Dog, a Service Dog, a Therapy Dog and a Search and Rescue Dog, and their Lucky Owners. There will be written and braille informational signs displayed with the work.

This is the beginning of my work, my plan is to create several educational coloring books about dogs. As well as other cool dog related projects. Come see me on Saturday and place your stroke on this project.
